Sophocles still speaks to us, chat and short film on Death of Hercules.
We’d like to offer our condolences to our colleagues in Turkey and Syria after all the horrible earthquakes again.
As before there are wonderful Turkish restaurants and bakeries in South Paterson, along with Syria, Lebanon and the Middle East. They have transformed this part of Paterson into a thriving community of recent and older immigrants. They need your support too.
We worked via the web with Anatolia International Film Festival in Turkey during June 2022. WE received a Best Actress for Ellen Lanese as solo performer in Death of Hercules from Sophocles’ THE WOMEN OF TRACHIS selection for their Festival.

Our short film was based on the death of Hercules from Sophocles’ THE WOMEN OF TRACHIS. Originally designed by Jennifer Long, starring Ellen Lanese, directed by Daniel P Quinn Off-Broadway.
We hope to arrange a showing regionally soon.
